Where are Albanian laws published?
Updated on 3 November 2026
Albanian laws are published in the Official Journal (Fletorja Zyrtare). Under Article 117 of the Constitution, laws and the normative acts of the Council of Ministers, ministers and other central institutions take legal effect only once published there.
The Official Publications Centre publishes the Journal, under law no. 78/2014. That law also governs the Electronic Archive of Acts, which holds acts in electronic form.
